Specify what range means
Tell RST the distance and the task: illuminating an object, inspecting an area or observing a route can require different beam characteristics. Weather, ambient light, target reflectivity and mounting influence usable illumination. Request the test conditions behind any quoted range rather than comparing distance figures alone.
Mounting and movement
Provide the mounting location and whether the installation is fixed or vehicle-mounted. Discuss the required horizontal and vertical movement, obstructions, cable arrangement, mechanical clearance and power supply. An offered configuration should be reviewed against the installation rather than selected by appearance alone.
Controls and interfaces
Explain whether the operator needs a local control, remote control or another agreed interface. Availability and compatibility are confirmed for the actual model. A general product description does not imply autonomous operation or compatibility with every external control system.
